The Borsa İstanbul (BIST) is the sole stock exchange of Turkey. It combines the former Istanbul Stock Exchange, the Istanbul Gold Exchange and the Derivatives Exchange of Turkey. The market capitalisation is about 174.4 billion US dollars. The major index is the Borsa Istanbul 100 (XU100). It is a capitalisation-weighted index composed of National Market companies except investment trusts. The constituents of the BIST National 100 Index are selected on the basis of pre-determined criteria directed for the companies to be included in the indices.

The main stock exchange in Sri Lanka is the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE). The major index for the Sri Lankan stock exchange is the S&P Sri Lanka 20 Index (S&PSL20), which follows the performance of 20 of the leading publicly traded companies.
