Over the last week we have seen the European and US markets move higher whereas the Asian markets were weaker and surprise, surprise the Aussie market was flat like it has been for almost the last 5 months. We are up only 15.8 points or 0.2% since the start of the year.
On the Aussie market we got the largest daily move for a little while on Thursday and this was a down move which also happened to see the lowest levels since the June 8 bottom.

The US markets have currently one of the longest Bull markets on record. In other words we have an old bull and continuing on from last week’s report

The US markets have confirmed tops in place on the weekly charts and have reached or slightly exceeded the big picture price targets we have been watching.
Highlights: CBA, the good, the bad, and the not so ugly – This week was an impressive curtain raiser to the reporting season – driverless cars, not problem for CarSales.com – guess who is not complaining about high gas prices? – James Hardie drops the hardie plank.
